MEET THE MAKER - ANYA
**Meet Anya**
Founder, recipe developer, juice maker, bottle washer, delivery driver… and the hands behind every bottle at The Cotswold Juicery.*
Hi, I'm Anya.
Welcome to The Cotswold Juicery – a business that started with a simple curiosity and has grown into something I never could have imagined.
Like many people, my journey into juicing began for personal reasons. What started as a way to support my own health and wellbeing soon became a genuine fascination with the incredible things fresh, natural ingredients can do. I wasn't just interested in making juice that tasted good; I wanted to understand the science behind it, the nutritional benefits of every ingredient and how I could create recipes that people would genuinely look forward to drinking.
That curiosity inspired me to study Natural Juice Therapy, earning a qualification accredited by the Complementary Medical Association. Alongside this, I completed a Higher Education qualification in Food Development & Nutrition and spent a year as part of the Future Foodie internship programme at Daylesford Organic. Every experience deepened my appreciation for quality ingredients, thoughtful recipe development and the connection between food and wellbeing.
In SEPT 2024, The Cotswold Juicery was born.
Today, it's still proudly a one-woman business. Every recipe is developed by me. Every bottle is cold-pressed in small batches to order. I source the produce, wash, prep, press, bottle, label, answer emails, create content, pack orders and hand-deliver locally. If you've received a bottle from The Cotswold Juicery, there's a very good chance every single step of its journey has passed through my hands.
That personal approach is something I'll never compromise on. Small batches allow me to focus on freshness, flavour and quality above all else. Every juice is raw, cold-pressed and made using thoughtfully sourced ingredients, with no unnecessary additives or shortcuts—just honest ingredients, bottled with care.
As the business has grown, so have the opportunities. What began in my own kitchen has evolved into supplying independent cafés, wellness studios, luxury hotels, spas and bespoke events across the Cotswolds. I've had the privilege of creating custom blends for collaborations, developing drinks inspired by seasonal produce and seeing The Cotswold Juicery featured in both *British Vogue* and *British GQ*—moments that still feel wonderfully surreal.
One of my favourite parts of what I do is helping bring other people's ideas to life. Whether it's creating a bespoke juice for a boutique hotel, designing a drink to match an event theme or developing something completely new from scratch, I love turning fresh ingredients into something memorable.
Running a business on your own certainly comes with its challenges, but I genuinely wouldn't have it any other way. There's something incredibly special about knowing every bottle that leaves my kitchen reflects my own standards, creativity and passion.
**What's Next?**
My vision has always been bigger than simply selling juice. I want The Cotswold Juicery to become synonymous with thoughtful nutrition, beautiful produce and exceptional flavour—whether that's through everyday wellness, exciting collaborations or bringing people together around good food and drink.
I'm constantly experimenting with new recipes, seasonal ingredients and creative ideas, and I can't wait to see where this journey leads next.
Most importantly, thank you.
Thank you for supporting an independent business. Thank you for choosing handcrafted over mass-produced. And thank you for allowing me to do what I genuinely love every single day.
I hope you can taste the care, passion and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle.
