We believe it's our (and every company's) responsibility to lessen the impact on our beautiful planet.

At The Cotswold Juicery, we take great pride in our environmental responsibility, and work towards two key goals. Whilst seeking to perfect our sustainability practice when creating and supplying the finest raw, cold pressed juices; we also aim to inspire others to do better every day, and in more ways.

Glass Bottles

Why do we use glass bottles?
Firstly, it simply tastes better. Furthermore, studies have shown that chemicals used in plastic bottle production can seep into liquid when exposed to sunlight or heat. This may only be very small amounts, but we want our juice to be as pure as possible. Finally, we care about our environment. It's no secret that our consumption of single-use plastic is harming our planet, so we want to do everything we can to reduce our footprint & minimise what ends up in landfill.

Apple Scraps to ACV

We juice lots (especially apples)! Any apple scraps, peelings or cores are carefully handcrafted into small batches of apple cider vinegar & fire cider.
This is a lengthy but rewarding process which takes time & patience, but we wouldn't have it any other way - delicious & health boosting tonics from waste products = win-win!

Pulp

Juicing creates a lot of leftover pulp from the fruit & veggies after pressing. Here are some of the ways we like to use or recycle this.
Compost - giving back to the earth, literally!
Feeding Livestock - fruit & veg pulp is an eco-friendly and sustainable feed option for livestock, which ensures our unused nutrients do not go to waste!
Baking - leftover pulp created delicious baked goods (sweet ginger cookies from ginger hot shots being a favourite)!
Green Powders - pulp from green veggies can be dehydrated & blitzed into superfood powders to add to soups, smoothies & broths.

Sourcing Our Produce

To be intuitive & work alongside nature is the best thing to do. Sourcing produce from local farms and the finest growers across the UK & beyond, you can rest assured that The Cotswold Juicery freshly presses the finest produce for you to sip, shot, or savour.
